Exec to handle corporate, show publicity
HOLLYWOOD — David E. Kelley Prods. has created a full-time media relations staff, recruiting P.R. vet Stacey Luchs to oversee the company’s media relations.
Luchs, who joins as executive director of media relations and publicity, will handle all of David E. Kelley Prods.’ corporate and show publicity.
Luchs joins the production shingle from PMK Public Relations, where she worked with David E. Kelley Prods. while handling publicity for the Fox drama “Boston Public.”
“We have worked closely with Stacey over the past year on ‘Boston Public’ and are very excited about bringing her inhouse to coordinate and expand all of our publicity efforts,” said David E. Kelley Prods. prexy Pamela Wisne.
Besides “Boston Public,” Luchs’ roster at PMK included Imagine/Disney’s ABC skeins “SportsNight,” “Wonderland” and “The Beast”; Harpo Films’ ABC longforms “Amy & Isabelle” and “Tuesdays With Morrie”; Fox’s “The Simpsons,” for Gracie Films; 20th Century Fox TV’s Fox sitcom “Titus”; as well as Lifetime Television, FX Networks, DirecTV, Oscar De La Hoya and Martin Sheen.

Luchs joined PMK from Bender, Goldman & Helper, where she worked on projects such as the campaign for Carsey-Werner’s “3rd Rock From the Sun” and Twentieth TV’s “The Magic Show.”
Also at David E. Kelley, Neely Swanson has been upped to exec director of business affairs, while Elisa Todd has moved up to director of creative affairs.
