Intertainment raises Brown

Baeres to assume legal duties

BERLIN — German film group Intertainment has named Stephen Brown deputy chairman of the company.

Brown, who was VP of business development, replaces the outgoing David Williamson, who was also in charge of company’s legal department; Intertainment topper Ruediger Baeres will assume Williamson’s duties in that area.

Brown, who joined Intertainment last year, will remain in the U.S. and in charge of company’s Stateside office.

Intertainment has a multipic deal with Arnold Kopelson Entertainment, where Brown worked for more than a decade before leaving to head Intertainment’s L.A. operations.
