Inside move: Scott leaves CAA, no agent now

Helmer to soon take meetings with agencies

Ridley Scott is Scot-free of tenpercenters, for now at least.

The director has departed Creative Artists Agency, but has yet to sign with a new shop. Agency toppers around town say that the “Gladiator” director is thinking of taking meetings with top agencies.

The helmer has just wrapped on “Black Hawk Down” for producer Jerry Bruckheimer and Revolution Studios. A call placed to Scott, who is editing the finished pic, was not returned at deadline — but a spokesman for CAA confirmed the departure.

He continues to be repped by attorney Skip Brittenham of Ziffren, Brittenham, Branca & Fischer.
