Milan travel guide
Aperitivo has become a must in Milano: The traditional cocktail or glass of wine accompanied by light snacks before a proper dinner has transformed itself into the social event. Most bars and pubs compete to offer their happy hour clients the best free snacks. Last year it was a matter of quantity, more recently it has become a matter of quality and originality: If you are lucky, you can get oysters and sushi with your drink. Among the trendiest aperitivi: Bar Magenta (via Carducci, 13) and Le Biciclette (corner of via Torti and Conca del Naviglio), the most classic and Milanese, and Rove (via della Spiga, 42), expensive but very glam, in the heart of the fashion district.
