Fox shuffles int’l exex

Twentieth Century Fox has named Latin America senior veep Bob Girard as its new deputy supervisor for Asia and the Pacific.

Girard will be replaced by Eduardo Echeverria, until now CEO for Mexico.

Among the first tasks facing Girard in his new post will be to find a candidate to fill the vacant post of Japan CEO.

A successor for Echeverria, who headed UIP’s film sales unit in Mexico for five years before overseeing some record box office stats for both U.S. and Mexican product here, has yet to be named.
