HOLLYWOOD — Scott Melrose is undergoing a Paradigm shift.
A talent agent at literary and talent percentery Paradigm for the last 4½ years, Melrose is ankling for Endeavor and is expected to start there this week.
“We are pleased to welcome Scott Melrose,” said Patrick Whitesell, an Endeavor partner and talent topper. “He has many friends here from over the years who look forward to working with him again.”
Indeed, move is a sort of reunion for the two, as Melrose and Whitesell had first worked together at Intertalent over a decade ago, when both had switched their careers — Whitesell had previously worked in banking and Melrose was a former television broadcast journalist and political operative for Michael Dukakis’ 1988 presidential campaign.
Already known to be joining Melrose are thesps Nicky Katt (“Boiler Room,” Fox skein “Boston Public”) and Leslie Mann (“George of the Jungle,” the upcoming “Stealing Stanford”).
While at Paradigm, Melrose worked closely with actors like Sean Patrick Thomas (“Save the Last Dance,” CBS’ “The District”), Martin Donovan (“Insomnia,” Fox series “Pasadena”) and Michael Landes (“Hart’s War,” UPN’s “Unit 2”).
