Vet named VP syndication lending
HOLLYWOOD — Aiming to boost its syndication lending to entertainment companies, Comerica Bank has appointed banking veteran Glenn Harvey senior vice president in that area.
Harvey, who’s been involved in Los Angeles banking since 1988, was most recently senior veep in charge of all syndication lending at Imperial Bank, the local lender recently acquired by Detroit-based Comerica.
In his previous position, Harvey devoted only about one-third of his time to entertainment syndication, officials said. His new assignment will see Harvey devoting his energies exclusively to that business segment.
He reports to Comerica Entertainment Group prexy Morgan Rector.
“Glenn’s ability, experience and understanding of the financial syndication business is a great asset to us in the entertainment division,” Rector said.
