Boje Buck, Delphi join Producers’ AG

World Brief

German producer Boje Buck and its distrib Delphi are the latest Teutonic players to join the Producers’ AG, which takes majority stakes in indie film and TV companies but invites the owners on the board as shareholders.

“It’s not a takeover; we haven’t been bought up. We want to protect our independence and freedom in a market that is becoming consolidated,” said Boje Buck topper Claus Boje.

PAG has six companies in its fold and hopes to double that before going public later this year or early 2002.
