Thesp next appears in Malkovich's 'Dancer'
Spanish thesp Javier Bardem has inked with United Talent Agency for representation in all areas.
Bardem recently made his American screen debut in Fine Line’s “Before Night Falls” playing Cuban exile Reinaldo Arenas — a role for which he was nommed for a Golden Globe award and for which he won the Best Actor prize from the National Society of Film Critics and the National Board of Review.
He is one of the few thesps to have won the Goya, the Spanish equivalent of the Oscar, back to back; first in 1994, for his work in Imanol Uribe’s suspenser, “Dias Contados” (“Numbered Days”), and again in 1995 for his role in Manuel Gomz Pereira’s sex comedy “Boca a Boca” (“Mouth to Mouth”).
He next appears in John Malkovich’s directorial debut, “The Dancer Uptairs” for Lola Films.
Spanish agent Jose Mazilli of Jose marzilli Represente de actors will continue to rep Bardem in Spain.
