AFTRA raises Capuano to o’see agents

Exec replaces recently resigned Fox

HOLLYWOOD — Veteran exec Megan Capuano has been promoted to manager of agent relations for the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists in Gotham.

Capuano, based at AFTRA’s national office, replaces Nancy Fox, who recently resigned.

Capuano joined AFTRA in 1993 as an assistant in the agency department and was named supervisor in 1997. In her new post, she is responsible for overall operation of the national agency department along with overseeing issuance of agency franchises, enforcement of agency regs and guidance of AFTRA locals in agency matters.

“We are delighted that Megan has agreed to fill this important national post and are confident that the transition will be a smooth one,” said Greg Hessinger, AFTRA’s national exec director.
