Negotiations between actors and studios resumed Wednesday under a tight news blackout following a four-day break.
With two weeks and two days remaining before the current contract expires, both sides issued no comment about the substance of their talks, which ended in time for the participants to watch game four of the NBA finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Philadelphia 76ers.
Bargaining will resume today at the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers in Encino.
The month of negotiations has been far more secretive than the nine weeks of talks earlier this year between the Writers Guild and AMPTP. Observers expect reps for the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists to reach a deal near the June 30 deadline.
