USA Networks has promoted some top execs in its Affiliate Distribution operation.
Douglas Holloway has been named prexy of network distribution and affiliate relations, Peter Ruben was named exec veep of affiliate relations, and Tom Smith was named senior veep for the Eastern Division.
Holloway will oversee all management of USA Affiliate Distribution, including USA Network, Sci Fi Channel, TRIO, Newsworld Intl. and HSN. He will continue reporting to Victor Kaufman, vice chairman of USAi.
Holloway, who has been with USA since 1983, previously served as exec veep of network distribution, as well as senior veep of affiliate relations, among other posts. Ruben and Smith will report to him.
Meanwhile, Mark L. Bienstock was upped from VP of business affairs/ affiliate relations for USA Cable to senior veep of business affairs and general counsel for Affiliate Distribution.
Bienstock reports to Julius Genachowski, senior VP and general counsel of USAi.
All of the execs will be based in New York.
