“Dharma & Greg’s” courtship with stations is moving right along.
In its first three weeks on the market, the ABC laffer has been sold to TV stations representing 50% of the country for its 2002 off-network debut in broadcast syndication. Twentieth Television has now sold the show in eight of the top 10 markets.
Since Twentieth Television made pacts with WPIX New York, KTTV Los Angeles and WGN Chicago earlier this month to air “Dharma” reruns, WTXF Philadelphia, KBWB San Francisco and WJBK Detroit have picked up the show.
Stations on board
WJW Cleveland, KSTP Minneapolis, WOFL Orlando, Fla., WTTV Indianapolis and KPDX Portland, Ore., are also on board.
The deals are broadcast exclusive. A concurrent cable window, which begins in 2005, will be up for sale in June, Twentieth says.
“Dharma & Greg” is produced by Chuck Lorre Productions and 4 to 6 Foot Productions in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Twentieth Televi-sion, Fox’s syndie arm, distributes.
