MTV may have hung up on “Loveline,” but the show goes on for the show’s Dr. Drew Pinsky.

Pilot for the untitled talk-reality project, in development at Twentieth Television with Pinsky and former MTV veejay Kennedy, is being shot this week and next at Empire Studios in Burbank (Daily Variety, Sept. 7). Monet Lane Prods. is producing in association with Twentieth, Fox’s syndie arm.

Meanwhile, “Loveline” producer Stone Stanley Entertainment has received inquiries from networks and syndicators about a new home for “Loveline,” which continues in its syndie radio version distribbed by Westwood One (Daily Variety, Sept. 19).

The Twentieth project is being exec produced by Paul Block, Doug Wilson, Howard Lapides and Lee Goldstein.

Pinsky, Kennedy, Wilson, Lapides and Goldstein were repped by William Morris Agency in this deal.

Skein will feature “people in unusual circumstances” who Pinsky and Kennedy help by connecting them with professionals.
