BERLIN — German kidvidder TV Loonland has wholly acquired Salsa Distribution, a European-based Latin American-aimed distributor of TV, video and merchandising.
Salsa will remain an independent entity within the TV Loonland group, keeping its present offices in Paris and Milan. TV Loonland’s London HQ.
Salsa founder and president Lisa Hryniewicz has been named TV Loonland’s head of distribution and a member of the board.

“With Salsa Distribution now a subsidiary company of the TV Loonland group, we have strengthened the very necessary position of TV Loonland in the essential Latin American market,” said Peter Volckle, head of TV Loonland.
Salsa’s library contains over 2,000 hours of programming. Company reps titles from Jim Henson Prods., Decode Entertainment, S4C and Winchester Television.
