MIAMI — Telemundo has tapped Arnaldo Limansky senior director of production, overseeing the U.S. Hispanic net’s telenovela efforts.
Limansky joins Telemundo from Venezuelan broadcaster Venevision, where he was production director.
At Telemundo, the Argentina native and vet TV and film producer will oversee all areas of Latin American novela production in Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Colombia and Brazil.
Telemundo is shifting from acquiring to producing more novelas, the staple of primetime programming. One project is a Spanish-lingo co-production with Brazil’s Globo.
