CANNES — New German sales venture Peppermint will handle over 400 hours of programming for New York distrib SPI Intl.
Peppermint will peddle the catalog for the German-speaking and Asian markets. The main focus of the programming is animation and documentaries.
Peppermint will also assume responsibilities for SPI Intl.’s feature film distribution and will thereby handle titles from SPI partners Alpine Pictures and Green Communications. Peppermint is a joint venture between German distrib Helkon Medien and former Kirch Group international sales topper Michael Knobloch.
