'Passions' leads the way for Peacock

NBC has joined CBS in making daytime demo strides as the Peacock last week attracted its largest audience of women 18-49 in 21 weeks and beat daytime demo leader ABC for the first time in nearly three years.

According to Nielsen, NBC (2.3/15) finished second to CBS (2.4/16) in women 18-49 for the week of June 26-30, with ABC slipping to third (2.2/15). (These numbers compare NBC’s two dramas with CBS’ four dramas and “The Price Is Right” and ABC’s four dramas and “The View.”)

Leading the way for NBC is the drama “Passions,” which wrapped its first year with its highest marks to date in women 18-49 (1.5/10), women 18-34 (2.3/14) and female teens (3.9/17).
