Movie-themed episodes helps 'Incorrect' imrpove ratings

Last week Spike Lee, John Waters and Jerry Bruckheimer helped “Politically Incorrect With Bill Maher” deliver its largest audience and its strongest 18-49 demos since the second week of May.

A series of movie-themed episodes — focusing on recent theatrical releases such as Waters’ “Cecil B. Demented,” Bruckheimer’s “Coyote Ugly” and Lee’s “Kings of Comedy” — helped ABC’s latenight show deliver an average audience of 2.84 million viewers for the week ended Aug. 11, according to Nielsen numbers.

Compared to the previous week, “Politically Incorrect” was up 13% in total viewers (2.84 million vs. 2.51 million), 32% among adults 18-49 (1.57 million vs. 1.18 million) and 33% among adults 12-54 (1.57 million vs. 1.18 million).
