World Brief

Press group Lagardere, along with its partners in Multithematiques, is planning to launch a Paris-Match TV channel in France next year.

Press reports say Lagardere has set aside a budget of 100 million francs ($13.3 million) for the station, and for the moment, it’s working on its own on the project.

Canal Plus, Lagardere and the American company Liberty Media each have a 27% share in the French cable and satellite group Multithematiques.
