“Access Hollywood” co-anchor Pat O’Brien has signed on to host primetime summer gameshow “Krypton Factor” for Fox.
During each episode of the show, contestants will vie for a prize of $500,000 as they test their powers of deduction and recall, attention to detail, mental collating and problem solving.
Granada Entertainment USA is producing the gamer in association with LMNO Prods.
Eric Schotz, Bill Paolantonio, Marty Tenney and Marcus Plantin are exec producing.
O’Brien has appeared on syndie entertainment mag “Access Hollywood” since 1997, following a 20-year career in news, sports and entertainment journalism.
He will host CNBC’s primetime Olympics coverage from Australia.
