'Women 2 Women' hangs on

LAS VEGAS — KCBS’ low-rated “Women 2 Women” 4 p.m. newscast isn’t dead yet.

The broadcast’s dismal Nielsen perf had many L.A. newsies convinced the station would pull the 4 p.m. program in the fall upon the arrival of “Judge Judy.” But station topper John Severino, who launched “Women 2 Women” last year, says he likes the femme-centric idea behind the newscast and is inclined to keep it in some form or another.

While it’s unlikely “Women 2 Women” will stay at 4, Severino told Daily Variety he’s considering moving the broadcast to the noon hour. “Judy” will air sometime between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. weekdays, though in which slot (or slots) has yet to be determined.
