IATSE organizes ‘Arrest’

Union also reaches three-year agreement with crime show

The Intl. Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees has organized the workers on “Arrest and Trial,” a reality series for broadcast syndication produced by Studios USA’s First Run Prods.

IATSE also announced it has reached a three-year production agreement with “Arrest and Trial,” created and produced by Dick Wolf and hosted by Brian Dennehy. The union said the deal provides 100% wage increases for many of the workers along with producer contributions to health and pension plans.

The agreement covers crime re-enactments, police interviews, witnesses, lawyers and host wraparounds. The deal was reached after IATSE struck the production on Aug. 24.
