Fuji honors ‘Peanuts’

Fuji TV, the leading Japanese commercial terrestrial network, will stage a monthlong “Peanuts” festival at a Tokyo hotel, beginning Aug. 5, in memory of Charles Schulz, who died in February.

Parents and children can see “Peanuts” characters posing with popular Fuji TV anchors and puppets. Fuji expects 250,000 visitors to the festival during the summer vacation that just started in Japan.
