Comic book publisher Black Bull Entertainment of Congers, New York, has inked with CGI animation house Mainframe Entertainment here to develop a TV series based on its Gatecrasher title.
Black Bull’s sci-fi Gatecrasher saga is aimed at the youth market. It’s about a college student who is half-human, half alien who works off-campus as a member of a secret army that protects Earth from alien attacks.
Black Bull is owned by Gareb Shamus, who also owns Wizard Entertainment, pusher of ToyFare, InQuest Gamer and Wizard.
Mainframe has produced five computer-animated TV series, and recently completed production a direct-to-video “Casper the Friendly Ghost” feature for Harvey Entertainment. Its new Action Man series began airing on Fox Kids this month.
