‘King’ courts H’wood

After-party reigns Impresario Ristorante

HOLLYWOOD — The Center Theater Group opened August Wilson’s “King Hedley II” on Thursday at L.A.’s Mark Taper Forum with an after-party at the Impresario Ristorante at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

Among those at the event were the company’s Wilson, helmer Marion McClinton, cast members Charles Brown, Juanita Jennings, Harry Lennix, Lou Myers, Monte Russell and Mone Watson, who joined guests Roscoe Lee Browne, Laurence Fishburne, Sheldon Epps, Sid Ganis, Robert Guillaume, Arthur Hiller, Henry Jaglom, Suzanne Pleshette, Robert Rehme, Wesley Snipes, Donald Sutherland, Alfre Woodard and JoAnne Worley.
