Jan Barbara Michelle Vusich

Jan Barbara Michelle Vusich, director of development for Sanford/Pillsbury Prods., died Sunday of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Pacific Coast Highway. She was 28.

Born and reared in Southern California, she graduated from Marymount High School and later received her B.A. from UC Berkeley.

Following graduation, she worked for several production companies before joining Sanford/Pillsbury, where her responsibilities included bringing numerous projects to the company, one of which is slated for production this spring.

An active member of Step-Up Women’s Network, a non-profit organization of women’s professionals in the entertainment industry, she also mentored elementary school students through the Young Storytellers Program.

She is survived by her parents, JoAnn Savitt and Leo Vusich, and a sister, Marisa.

Services will be held this evening at St. Charles Catholic Church in North Hollywood.
