Producer and writer Gary Frederick Chazan, who worked under Robert Evans at Paramount Pictures during the 1970s, died March 3 of cancer in Los Angeles. He was 57.
He was involved with pics during Evans’ reign that included “The Godfather,” “Chinatown” and “Marathon Man.”
Chazan is survived by two children, Alexander and Alana, his father, two sisters, three nephews, a cousin and his companion, Leslie Easterbrooke.
Family suggests donations in his name be made to cancer research at UCLA, Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation, Factor Bldg., Room 8-950, Box 951780, Los Angeles, CA 90095-1780.
