Actress and news writer Erica Enright, who wrote and produced TV news for numerous outlets in Los Angeles and New York, died Sunday of cancer at her home in Los Angeles. She was 52.

A native of New York, she studied drama at the U. of Miami and the Herbert Berghoff School. She later gained attention as an actress in legit productions, film and TV.

Turning to TV news, she wrote and produced for WNEW, WABC and “Good Morning America” in New York and KCBS in Los Angeles.

The daughter of the late gameshow veteran Daniel Enright and his wife Stella, she is survived by her mother and a brother, TV producer Don Enright.
