Columbia Pictures has tapped four execs in the areas of post-production and print operations.
Beverley Starr is elevated to senior VP, international post-production, Columbia Pictures; Michael Jones rises to the post of senior veep, worldwide print operations, for Columbia Pictures; Stephen Foligno is tapped by the studio as director, international print services, Columbia TriStar Film Distributors Intl.; and Rosemarie Ortiz is promoted to director of domestic print operations for Sony Pictures Releasing.
Starr plans to ensure that international post-production schedules are closely coordinated with her domestic counterparts. Based in London, she joined Columbia Pictures in 1979 as assistant to the European technical manager. In 1995, she was named veep of international print services.
Jones, who is based in Culver City, will supervise production of all film prints for global distribution. He previously worked in Columbia’s Dallas sales office and as a sales analyst in their Los Angeles office.
Foligno, who got his start at Sky Television in 1990, will oversee the distribution of motion picture product to exhibitors in all international territories.
Ortiz, a 20-year veteran of the company, will head the production and distribution of film prints to exhibitors in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.
