Al Adolph

Al Adolph, manager of San Francisco’s Telenews Theater during the 1950s, died Feb. 28 of natural causes in Camarillo, Calif. He was 91.

Adolph largely worked in TV syndication, joining Seven Arts Prods. in the early ’60s, working under prexy Bob Rich. He went on to work for Jack Rhodes Prods., followed by a brief stint at Colbert TV in Los Angeles.

Adolph is survived by five children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
