Charles Dages has been tapped as senior veep of emerging technology for Warner Bros. New Media.
Dages will be responsible for implementing the division’s technical systems and software.
“Chuck’s expert ability to engineer new and emerging technologies, combined with his knowledge of film and television production, make him the ideal person to lead our technological efforts as we move forward in this arena,” said Kevin Tsujihara, executive vice president of the new media division.
Since 1994, Dages has been senior veep of technical operations at Warner Bros., where he supervised the selection of the technical systems that distribute film and television content for the studio. He also oversaw the design and construction of the all-digital TV production studio for “Extra.”
Prior to joining WB, Dages worked at CBS, where he oversaw the engineering renovation of the Ed Sullivan Theater for “The Late Show With David Letterman.”
