DNA Studio has tapped Marta Mobley-Anderson, former veep of production at Roger Corman’s Concorde-New Horizons, as veep of production at the Web design and online marketing shop.
In her newly created post, Mobley-Anderson will oversee delivery of all DNA Studio projects and supervise the company’s producers.
Los Angeles-based DNA has built a biz around creating Web sites and Flash animation packages for the major film studios’ pics. Company is now stepping into the production of original content for the Web.
Mobley-Anderson will report to DNA prexy Thomas Lakeman.
“Marta played a key role at the company that wrote the book on guerrilla filmmaking,” Lakeman said. “Marta’s understanding of indie culture and ability to support emerging talent maker her perfect for DNA Studio.”
At Concorde-New Horizons, Mobley-Anderson most recently served as producer of 21 episodes of TV strip “Black Scorpion.”
Before that, she worked in retail buying, merchandising and management for the Yonkers department store chain.
