Former DreamWorks senior production exec Jason Hoffs has joined Gotham-based Internet firm KPE as VP of content development.
Hoffs ankled DreamWorks in February in order to explore new-media opportunities (Daily Variety, Feb. 8).
Based in KPE’s L.A. office, Hoffs will supervise content on company’s existing projects in addition to seeking new content-development opportunities.
“We are very excited that Jason has decided to join KPE,” said exec VP Michael Roberts. “His extensive experience and deep relationships within the Hollywood community will be great assets as we continue the growth of our Los Angeles operations.”
While at DreamWorks, Hoffs supervised development and production of features including “Deep Impact,” “Mouse Hunt” and the forthcoming “Meet the Parents.” Before that he was a VP at Amblin Entertainment and at Scott Rudin Prods.
In addition to developing content for media and entertainment companies, Kaufman Patricof Enterprises provides capital for digital business ventures.
