Dominic Walker has been tapped managing director for Famous Music’s London-based U.K. operations. Famous, which has more than 100,000 copyrights in its catalog, is the music publishing division of Viacom’s Paramount Pictures.
Walker, who’ll be responsible for the acquisition and development of U.K.-based talent, will report to Famous Music Publishing prexy Ira Jaffe. Walker will also be working with BMG Music Publishing — which subpublishes Famous in many territories — to promote the Famous catalog.
Walker previously served as senior creative manager for the Universal Music Group. He was also a professional manager at BMG Music Publishing and an agent with Miles Copeland’s Prestige Talent.
