NEW YORK — Tony Dunaif has been upped to VP of business development for MTV and VH1.
In his new post, Dunaif will identify and develop revenue-generating opportunities that will enhance MTV and VH1’s brands. In addition, Dunaif will help identify potential acquisitions and strategic alliances for the channels.
“Tony’s strong background in technology and distribution will serve as a tremendous asset as we work to further develop new businesses in the rapidly evolving world of video-on-demand, interactive and digital television for MTV and VH1,” said Donald Silvery, senior VP of program enterprises and business development for MTV and VH1.
Most recently, Dunaif was VP of market development for MTV Networks affiliate sales and marketing. Dunaif, who started at MTV as a marketing manager, was also a director of sales and marketing, managing the DirecTV account for MTV.
