NEW YORK — Greg Gutfeld, former editor-in-chief of Men’s Health, has been tapped Stuff Magazine’s editor-in-chief.
The publication, which primarily draws a male 18-34 demographic, has seen its circulation skyrocket with a 112% increase in its guaranteed rate base, rising from 400,000 for the first half of this year to 850,000 for the first half of next year.
Included among several staffing changes is the promotion of Andy Clerkson, former editor-in-chief, to general manager. Jamie Hooper has been tapped group publisher, while Andy Turnbull has been named group creative director and Aric Webb becomes the magazine’s marketing director.
“While I’m damn proud of what we have managed to achieve in the past year or so, Stuff is about to shift into turbo drive,” Clerkson said. “Frankly, I’m not surprised Stuff’s growing faster than most of our rivals put together, but they better get used to it. We’re overtaking on the inside track, and we won’t be wasting time looking in the rearview mirror.”
Stuff will also launch its Flash Shockwave Web site at Stuff-mag.com on Sept. 29.
