NY ‘Juno’ for Crowley

Makes directorial bow with Roundabout at Gramercy

John Crowley makes his New York directorial debut with the Roundabout Theatre’s production of “Juno and the Paycock.” The Sean O’Casey play opens at the Gramercy Theater Oct. 9. In 1999, Crowley staged the play at the Donmar Warehouse in London, where he is an associate artistic director. The production starred Dearbhla Molloy, who will reprise the role of Juno Boyle in Gotham. Others in the cast include Jack Norton as Captain Jack Boyle and Thomas Jay Ryan as Joxer Daly.

In London, Crowley helmed “How I Learned to Drive,” “One for the Road,” “The Master Builder” and “Into the Woods,” which was designed by his brother Bob Crowley.
