Kurtz, Lewis, Shields to talk about womanhood joys, sorrows
Swoosie Kurtz, Jenifer Lewis and Brooke Shields are the latest to sign up for Eve Ensler’s play, “The Vagina Monologues,” which will run at the Canon Theater Jan. 2-21. The trio of actresses changes every three weeks.
“The Vagina Monologues,” in which actresses recount the joys and sorrows of womanhood, has drawn raves in performances across North America. Nora Dunn, Teri Garr and Sanaa Lathan are performing in the current lineup at the Canon through Dec. 31.
A portion of the profits will be donated to women’s charity the V-Day Fund.
