Survivor lands ‘Animal’ role

Haskell to co-star in Greenfield helming debut

Colleen Haskell was one of the last to go on CBS’ “Survivor,” but now she’s the first of the cast to land a major role in a feature film: She will star opposite Rob Schneider (“Deuce Bigelow: Male Gigalo”) in the Revolution Studios production “Animal.”

The directorial debut of Luke Greenfield, from a script by Tom Brady, “Animal” will be produced by Revolution and Adam Sandler and Jack Giarraputo’s Happy Madison Prods. Columbia Pictures will distribute.

Producers are Carr D’Angelo, Barry Bernardi and Todd Garner. Lensing begins Oct. 17 in Los Angeles. Pic will be released June 22.

Film centers around a man who receives organ transplants from a multitude of animals and slowly finds himself taking on those animal traits. Haskell will play his love interest.

Haskell, a student at Miami University, is repped by Toni Howard at ICM.
