Steinberg inks prod’n pact

Peace Arch gets exclusive rights

VANCOUVER — David Steinberg has inked a two-year development and exec-producing deal with Peace Arch Entertainment Group, which gives the Canuck firm exclusive rights to develop and produce his TV projects and a first look at his film and TV projects.

Steinberg is currently exec producing and starring in Peace Arch’s 22-episode laffer “Big Sound.” He started with the original Second City improv theater company in Chicago, and his directing credits include “Mad About You,” “Friends” and “Seinfeld.”

Peace Arch is currently in production in the third season of the 66-episode sci-fi series “First Wave” and the first season of the action sci-fi series “The Immortal.”
