Nomination voting will close Friday for the 13 categories in film and television for the sixth annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
SAG has randomly selected a nationwide nominating committee of 4,200 active members to choose nominees in five movie categories (two for individual leading roles, two for supporting roles and one for cast) and eight in television (two for individuals in a TV movie or miniseries, two for individuals in a drama series, two for individuals in a comedy series, and ensembles in drama and comedy series).
Nominations will be announced Tuesday at 8 a.m. PST at SAG’s Los Angeles headquarters by SAG president William Daniels (“Boy Meets World”), Lolita Davidovich (“Play It to the Bone”) and Blair Underwood (“City of Angels”).
Awards ballots will be mailed Feb. 15 to the 97,000 active SAG members, with ballots due March 10 and ceremonies two days later at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center.
