Blitt inks for Revolution comedy

Continuing its buying spree, Joe Roth’s Revolution Studios has tapped scribe Ricky Blitt to pen the comedy “Plain White Rapper.”

Revolution’s Todd Garner, Greg Silverman and newly hired exec Derek Dauchy are overseeing the project for the studio.

“Plain” is a buddy comedy centering on a black secret service agent and a white rapper.

Blitt previously penned “The Ringer,” which is set up at Fox with the Farrelly brothers and John Jacobs producing.

Blitt is repped by Nicole Clemens and Nick Reed at ICM as well as manager John Jacobs.
