Penelope Ann Miller, last seen in the USA Network telefilm “The Mary Kay Letourneau Story: All American Girl,” will portray a mother who loses her child in a kidnapping, in Paramount’s “Along Came a Spider.” Pic is based on James Patterson’s bestselling novel and co-stars Morgan Freeman reprising his Detective Alex Cross role from 1998’s “Kiss the Girls,” based on another Patterson novel.
