Kara Zediker, who had a recurring role in Fox’s short-lived “Action,” has been added to the cast of the Fox pilot “Adrenaline Run,” and will join Jennifer Aniston and Mark Wahlberg in Warner Bros.’ “Metal God.” Zediker is repped by Mitchell K. Stubbs & Associates.

Former NFL great Dick Butkus, seen recently in Oliver Stone’s “Any Given Sunday,” has been tapped for the role of Coach Reese in FX’s football-themed pilot “Gridiron.” Also on board, and also from “Any Given Sunday,” is Andrew Bryniarski.

Butkus is repped by Glenn Hughes at the Geddes Agency and Linda Mancuso at Beyond Talent Management. Bryniarski is repped by Alan Saffron of Mastermind Entertainment.

Nadia Dajani (“Ned and Stacy”) has inked to join Heather Graham in helmer Ed Burns’ feature “The Sidewalks of New York.” She’s also nabbed the lead in the Kopelson Entertainment/20th Century Fox TV pilot “Sherman’s March” for NBC. Dajani is repped by Innovative Artists and managed by Ted Schachter.

Michael Ian Black — best known as the puppeteer and voice of the Pets.com Sock Puppet — is in production on the Fox pilot “Hey Neighbor,” which he created, wrote, exec produced and stars in. He’ll also voice Zak the dog in the Carsey-Werner action/animation pilot “Dog Years” for NBC. Black is repped by UTA and managed by Ted Schachter.

Two young thesps repped by Coast to Coast Talent Group have landed roles in pilots: Anastasia Emmons has been tapped for Aaron Spelling’s “Strangers in a Strange Land,” and Torrey Dickinson has joined the cast of Brad Grey’s “Doughboy” for the WB. Emmons is managed by Susan Curtis, and Dickinson is managed by Academy Management.
