Luke Perry and Roger Moore are set to star in “The Enemy” for Promark Entertainment Group and UFA Intl. Film & TV Prod.
The $6 million spy thriller, which also stars Olivia D’Abo and Tom Conti, begins lensing this weekend in Luxembourg with first-time director Tom Kinninmont at the helm.
Producers are Tom Reeve and Konstantin Thoeren.
Pic spins the tale of a CIA agent and a geneticist who battle to keep a deadly biological weapon from falling into dangerous hands when the weapon’s inventor is kidnapped. Perry is best know for his run on the TV show “Beverly Hills, 90210.” Moore, of course, played the role of James Bond in several pics.
Promark is a Los Angeles producer-distributor and is owned by London-based Promark Entertainment Group. Ufa Intl. is a subsidiary of German company Ufa Film & TV Production. The companies will be showing their latest co-production, “Contaminated Man,” with William Hurt, Peter Weller, and Natascha McElhone, at next month’s Cannes film market.
