Peace takes ‘Forever’ in Canada

Peace Arch Entertainment has acquired world distribution rights to “Now and Forever,” a feature film being produced in Saskatchewan by Edge Entertainment in association with new Canuck media giant WIC, which has initial exhibition rights here.

Pic, about the relationship of a young First Nations boy and a small-town girl, is helmed by Bob Clark (“Porky’s”) and stars Mia Kirshner (“City of Angels”) and Adam Beech (“Mystery, Alaska”).

Exec producer is David Doerksen of Saskatoon-based Edge, a leader in Saskatchewan’s small but growing film and television industry.
