Robert Keene has been tapped to design the sets for this year’s Oscar telecast. This will be the second time the Emmy Award-winning production designer has been involved with the Oscars. His previous outing was in 1992 for the 65th Awards. Keene has designed more than 500 specials and his television design credits include the Grammy, Emmy and Tony Awards as well as the 1993 Super Bowl halftime show and the 1996 Olympics opening and closing ceremonies.
The 72nd Academy Awards will be presented on March 26.
