HOLLYWOOD — A midcareer retrospective of director Oliver Stone will be presented at the Museum of Modern Art Sept. 14-28. “Oliver Stone: Filmmaker” will comprise all of Stone’s 14 films, including the premiere of the director’s cut of his most recent film, “Any Given Sunday.”
The presentation, to unspool at the museum’s Roy and Niuta Titus Theater, was organized by Laurence Kardish, the department of film and video’s senior curator.
Stone’s 1969 short “Last Year in Vietnam” will also be included in the exhibition.
The film series is part of the exhibition “Open Ends,” which celebrates the Museum of Modern Art’s holdings in art since 1960.
