NEW YORK — Miramax has optioned Charles Baxter’s fourth novel, “Feast of Love.”
Patricia Rozema is attached to direct, and Linda Goldstein Knowlton of Ladylike Films is attached to produce. The book has been adapted for the screen by John Pleshette, husband of agent Lynn Pleshette, who with Micheal Cendejas of the Lynn Pleshette Agency, negotiated the deal on Baxter’s behalf.
Just out from Pantheon to considerable acclaim, novel weaves together the amorous entanglements and travails of a circle of acquaintances in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Miramax director of creative affairs Jennifer Berman and production and development veep Julie Goldstein will oversee the project. Senior veep of business affairs Steve Hutensky and veep of business and legal affairs Eric Roth repped the studio.
